Description

Administrative law is a branch of the law dealing with government agencies (both federal and state) and their ability to legislate, adjudicate and execute regulations for complex social, economical and political public areas of law. (Public areas of law such as police, immigration, transportation, broadcasting, environment, manufacturing, taxation, international trade law.) Often referred to as regulatory law, this branch of law involves the procedures and constraints associated with government agencies, which have increased in number and grown in importance in the United States. As a branch of public law, also of great importance is the legal relationship between administrative agencies and the general public. Administrative law attorneys can assist individuals through the process of filing claims, appeals, or grievances with agencies.
