Description
Appellate law practice is the branch of the law that has the power or authority to review and change the decisions of a lower court ruling. After a decision has been made by a trial judge or jury, the losing party has the constitutional right to appeal their case to higher courts known as appellate courts. This type of law differs from others in that the higher court ruling is based on whatever evidence and information was presented previously in the trial court.
